Our Courses

Maths Tuition

We follow the UK National Curriculum - further information on each course can be found below. We cater to students of all ages and abilities. We have an excellent track record in preparing students for the 11+, SATs and all other Maths exams

Key Stage 2

For ages 6 to 11 years old, school years 3-6.

Ensuring fluency with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and other topics such as place value understanding, fractions and decimals, basic geometry concepts like angles and lines, data handling and simple statistics

11+

The 11+ is an admissions test used by selective schools to ensure that they only offer places at their schools to the top performing, most able pupils and these schools are often oversubscribed.

Our comprehensive 11+ preparation course is carefully structured to give children the confidence, knowledge and ability to pass the 11+ Entrance Exam. We teach them the skills required through regular exercises and mock/timed exam practice.

SATs

SATs are national curriculum tests that measure children's academic development. SATs are authored and distributed to schools by the STA (Standards and testing agency)

We build on learning from Key Stage 2 focusing on more complex calculations with larger numbers, algebraic manipulation and equations, ratio and proportion, coordinate geometry, and probability concepts.
